In 2022, Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology announced to host the International Carbohydrate Conference (CARBO-XXXVI), which will be held during December 5-7, 2022 at VMCC, IIT Bombay. The Carbohydrate Conference (CARBO) is one of the most important events organized annually under the auspices of the ACCTI.

The CARBO-XXXVI will encompass recent developments in all areas of carbohydrates.
The conference will bring together both established and emerging researchers, scientists, technologist and industrialist to serve as a forum for deliberation and discussions on the progress in all major areas of carbohydrates.
In this three-days conference we aim to have a thorough discussion on all the aspects of carbohydrate chemistry, biology and technology including synthesis, immunological studies, automation technologies and glycoconjugate vaccines through lectures, posters and Industry-Academia panel discussion.
Eminent people from across the globe have been invited to share their views on the recent development in the field and deliver talks on the cutting-edge research. The present edition boasts of an outstanding group of plenary lecturers, invited speakers and award lectures. Besides, there will also be poster presentations followed by selected oral presentations from students.
Applications for this meeting must be submitted by October 25, 2022. Please apply early, as the meeting has a limited seat capacity and may get full before this deadline. If the meeting is oversubscribed, it will be stated here. In such a scenario, applications received at a later date will only be considered by the conference chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.
The registration fees include conference kit, entry to all sessions, all lunches, dinners and refreshments as well as the cultural program. Registration fees does not include accommodation. There are various hotels near IITB campus which should be booked separately by the participants.
For student participants, campus hostel accommodation will be provided to a limited number of students on first come first basis subject to availability and applicable payment. Register early to get your seat confirmed in the conference.
