Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of posts: 1
Essential: M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks; Qualified through UGC-CSIR NET or any National level Ph.D. entrance tests in Chemistry, such as JEST/TIFR-GS final written test/GATE.
Desirable:
Research experience in synthetic chemistry, organic synthesis of ligands, and characterization of organic molecules.
Job Requirement:
The JRF will be working on the synthesis of fluorescent sensors for imaging metal ions in living cells. The post is for a project funded by the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA) and the post is co-terminus with the project duration.

Fellowship: Rs.31000/- (JRF) + HRA
Nature & Period of Post: Initially period of one year, is extendable for a maximum period of another 2 years based on performance.
Duration: Total duration is 3 years – 2 years as JRF and 1 year as SRF.
