How to create Telegram channel: Here are the steps

There is a difference between Telegram groups and channels. Telegram groups are ideal for small team collaborations where you can add up to 200,000 members. But Telegram Channels are a tool for broadcasting messages to large users where you can have an unlimited number of subscribers.

How can create a Telegram channel using Android:

Step 1: First, open Telegram app on your Android device

Step 2: Next, on the home page tap the circular Pencil icon.

Step 3: From the given options tap 'New Channel'.

Step 4: On the new page enter Channel name, add a picture and description and tap on Tick icon.

Step 5: Now choose from Public Channel or Private Channel.

Note: If you choose Public option then you will have to give a username that can be shared publicly. If you choose Private option then you will get a private joining link that can be used by the other users to join your channel.

Step 6: After selecting an option to tap the Tick icon and select the members you want to add to your channel.

Step 7: Once selected tap Tick icon.

Now you have a channel on telegram.
